Gymnastics

从10月星期四开始. 17, SU will offer a gymnastics club. 

The club will practice twice a week beginning on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Shen和oah Tumblers (221 Commonwealth Ct.，温彻斯特，弗吉尼亚州22602). The club practice times are 7 – 9 p.m. 周二 & 周四. The cost is $150 per person for the remainder of the academic year.  The 俱乐部体育 Department (校园娱乐 & 健康) will contribute funds for each member to keep the out-of-pocket cost to a minimum.  Fall practices take place in October (beginning Oct. 17), November (no practice Thanksgiving week), 和 the first week of December. For the spring, practices start in February 和 run through the end of April.  There is no practice the week of spring break.  There are two waivers participants must complete to be eligible to participate. 俱乐部的付款截止日期是11月11日. 1, 2024. 攀岩俱乐部

 

The Rock 攀岩俱乐部 is a club sport available for any students whether they are experienced or want to try out something new!

 

The 攀岩俱乐部 provides carpooling to the Sportrock climbing gym where students climb at a discounted rate with gear rentals included. Climbing is a great form of exercise, 这是释放压力的有效途径, 和 an experience that builds trust 和 friendship among members.

Sound Ultimate is a competitive ultimate frisbee team at 澳门线上赌博平台大学 that competes in Division III of USA Ultimate collegiate ultimate. They seek to foster a sense of camaraderie 和 support while practicing, 参加比赛, 或者只是作为一个团队一起出去玩. The sport of ultimate has a broad 和 welcoming community of players around the world 和 is built on a foundation of cooperation 和 spirit, seeing as the sport is largely self-officiated outside of highest-level play. 

 

Sound practices often in addition to some pick-up on the weekends that are open to the public. They aim to compete at 3-4 tournaments per semester. While they play competitively, they try to make ultimate as fun as possible! Don’t worry if you’ve never played or heard of the sport. Sound welcomes any Shen和oah student that is interested 和 willing to try it out! You’ll be taught everything you need to know to be part of the team. Soccer

The Club Soccer program is currently open to all participants.  The team is made up of students who love the game 和 want to improve 和 keep their skills sharp.  Club Soccer is actively looking for participants to strengthen both their men’s 和 women’s teams.  The club soccer team is also actively seeking a volunteer coach to help practices run more efficiently.  If you have an interest in joining the team or coaching, please contact 俱乐部体育 at clubsports@fatkee.net

游泳俱乐部

Shen和oah 游泳俱乐部 is a fun way for returning swimmers or new swimmers to get involved in swimming at 澳门线上赌博平台大学 through practices 和 competitions. It is a club to introduces swimming, 提供基础知识, 提高游泳速度, 和 fosters 和 preserves the highest ideals of good sportsmanship 和 character through swimming. 

游泳俱乐部 practices at the pool at the War Memorial Building in Jim Barnett Park, located just a few minutes from campus!

The 游泳俱乐部 will be utilizing open swim times at Jim Barnett Park in an effort to reduce costs to individuals as well as provide opportunities to be in the water.
